Born in England in 1680's , he had interest to sail on sea. He had good academic qualification to start his career as a major in king's Guards. He became a pirate because he wanted to become a pirate.

Bonnet was a esteemed member of the highest ranks of the society. He was fond of sailing and wanted to become a pirate. However he knew nothing about sailing. The desire to become a pirate drove him to seas to work alongside BlackBeard. :cfire:

Fond of sailing and pirating, Bonnet sailed along the coast towards Carolinas and Virgina with great success on the way. He captured many ship as he moved forward. However he burned every ship from Barbados just to make sure that the news of himself working as a pirate did not reach Barbados.

How could any person with wealth and fame leave his luxurious world to join the pirates? I feel it is just the desire that has driven him to join the pirates.

Something drove him to become a pirate. Many suspect that his wife's nagging made him to choose piracy. Some other feel that the boredom in plantations dragged him to piracy.

Soon Bonnet met Blackbeard and they together seiged the Charles town in may 1718. Professional pirate black beard was amused working with Steve bonnet. It did not last long enough though.

You know the governor pardoned Steve once when he tried to leave pirating forever. However when he met black beard again he started pirating once again however, with a different name captain Edwards. ahoy

Yeah, as the governor started the search on pirate during the 17th century by assigning navy to accomplish the job. Bonnet surrendered on “Royal james” – the pirate ship- ending all his dreams at once.

You know everyone favored Bonnet for release from prison and for the offer of pardon. However,Bonnet managed to escape from the prison but was cause immediately after 14 days. Every hope of pardon was vanished though. ahoy :cfire: :fire: ahoy
